Steve from Pearland says, “I’ve called all over, and had garage door companies come out. I’ve got an old style wooden four panel wood garage, that needs a new bottom panel.” He says, “No one has these anymore, and they say the only way to go is replacement.”

I would say, maybe there’s a chance he can get a bottom panel.
Charlie:

Overhead Door Company of Houston, on Main Street. One of the things that a lot of garage door companies do today is up-sell, and always go for the replacement. They’ll tell you that door isn’t made anymore. We can’t get parts for that door anymore. Panels are pretty standard sized. Now, I don’t know if it’s a panel that can be matched, or not? That’s the big question, because it might be an odd matched panel. I would not say no, until they called the Overhead Door Company of Houston, on Main Street. They deal with a lot of wooden doors, where a lot of companies don’t deal with them anymore.
Charlie:
The other part about calling Overhead Door Company too, is that if you do wind up getting, having to retro fit to a metal door, which I’m thinking he’s probably going to have to, he’s not going to get a better deal on his door anywhere, than he’s going to get from them.
Tom:
A most honest deal too.
Charlie:
An honest deal, that’s exactly right.
