Charlie: Ann in Cypress has our last question. You remember she wrote us a couple weeks back, talked about removing a fireplace?
Podcast: Play in new window
Tom: Yes.Charlie: Yeah, yeah, well, she decided not to and she wants to-
Tom: That’s a pretty good ad.
Charlie: Right. That’s okay. After hearing our response, she says, “Yeah, maybe I don’t want to do that.”
Tom: That’s a big job.
Charlie: Our work here is almost done. But she says, “I’d like to reface it. Not solid brick, it’s like a veneer and plywood kind of thing.” Can she go with another veneer or should she take it down, forget about it all together, paint it, or-
I’d like which is easier, forget it all together. Her husband’s saying, “Ann, find something else to obsess on.
Tom: ” You could do a lot different things. You could put tile on it. You could put thin stone veneer on there. You could call Concepts In Concrete and have him do a whole coating system, all different kinds of styles. No, you certainly can do it. Depending on what you choose to do and whether you have to take that down or not will be depending on what you’re doing. But chances are, you can cover it up and veneer it with something really cool.
