Combining utility bills

We have multiple properties. Is it possible to combine the utilities such as electricity into one account? Who would be the best provider?

Cynthia

Tom’s Answer:

Your browser does not support the audio element.

Tom: Probably not without going through a lot of bureaucratic red tape. I will tell you this, you’ve got to call your local utilities, whether in Houston, it would be Center Point, you know, whatever the case may be. See what they say about the properties, but separate properties, with separate addresses, usually have to have separate meters. We’ll see what happens.
Charlie: They do it by the meter, don’t they?
Tom: And by the address. It has a lot to do with addresses and how the properties are cut up.
