Charlie: Bill, in Clear Lake. I heard you talk about the Watts Hot Water Recirculating System. In using this should I be concerned about hot water entering the cold. I’ve heard you tell people more than once not to ingest from the hot side. Should the recirculating pump be in continuous mode to keep that from happening?
Tom: First off, we go back to our filter it question. Always filter your water before you drink it. Should just turn on the hot water and drink it, no, don’t do that. The inside of a tanked water heater is disgusting. As far as it going back, there’s no problem with that. The Watts circulation pump is a pump you can put underneath the sink and put in different places in your home. I would like to say that that man has listened to the show for well over two decades because that was the first one that came out.
Now there’s probably 30 different brands. You can call Abacus and get the one perfect for you.
Charlie: The one that they use up there at Abacus is the Grohe faucet.
Tom: There you go.
Charlie: It is a bad mamma jamma.
