Tom,
You built my house in the the Heights 10 years ago. I’m still very happy with it. Javier of Rudy’s a Quality Painting has given me an estimate to repaint. Some of the Hardie boards are loose at their ends. How do we repair this before painting? Can the ends of the Hardie boards just be nailed down or do they have to be replaced?
Larry
Tom: Oh yeah, Javier and Rudy’s crews, whoever does it, they’ll go ahead and secure those things with a few nails. It’s not going to take a lot, just enough to keep them from swinging but that house was so tight on the back we had to take scaffolding all the way up and there might have been a place where something didn’t get quite connected right but it’ll be taken care of because that house was sheathed in pure plywood so they won’t have a problem finding a nail …
Charlie: Good, nice okay. I was just …
Tom: It’s a good house.
Charlie: I was thinking this may be a case where Larry’s trying to clean the house before the maid comes over, you know.
Tom: No, no Larry, he takes good care of his home …
Charlie: That was a small home but beautiful inside.
