I live in Windrose and lots of the homes here are getting new roofs put on due to the recent hail storm. I don’t trust the guys going around door to door trying to get my business. What good is the guarantee if the company isn’t there a year from now? Who would your recommend to re-roof my house?
Jason
Tom:: I get really sad and passionate because so many storms have happened. We had hail. We’ve had floods. There are so many people who are going to get taken advantage of. I had this conversation the other day. By the way, the name of the company to call is Ideal Roofing, just so I don’t forget.
Charlie: You thought I’d let that go?
Tom:: No, of course not. What you do is you call a company here in town. You say, “Come on out. Everybody’s got damage. See if I have damage. Work with my insurance company. Let’s get a good quality roof with a full warranty and everything else.”
Here’s the other side. People always want to blame the contractors but I’m also going to blame a lot of the homeowners. They see a fat check in their hand and all of a sudden greed gets over them, too. You got both sides of the coin. If you’re one of those people that are trying to get flat screen TVs and a new car port for free, and all this other stuff, and then have the other work done, and it’s cheap and it’s no good because you’re trying to squeeze money out, shame on you too. What do you do? We go back to the ideal thing. You call a good [inaudible 00:00:51] company. No, Charlie. I’m sorry.
Charlie: My eyebrows are up here because Tom: is on a tear. The ushers will soon pass among you with a plate here. Go ahead, Tom:.
Tom:: A good local company, we have many here. You might know some yourself. Call them and use every penny of that insurance money to do the job right.
