Will a gutter help stop Water from roof from washing dirt away around the driveway?

Barbara in Atascocita  has dirt around the driveway washing away due to the rain water coming off the roof.  Can this be fixed?  We check in with the veteran of gutters, Jimmy from Kustom Gutters.
