Hot room above a hot garage

The room above garage is hot, but the A/C guy said it’s adequately fed air. It’s the hottest room in house, yet has no direct sunlight. Is there poor insulation between garage ceiling and room floor?

Please help.

Tom: Needs more air. Needs more air conditioning. Maybe it needs a booster. We’ve often recommended people get a split system for those really strange rooms that are built in their houses that they can’t get cooled or heated properly from their central, so maybe a little booster air conditioner in there. More capacity. Sure, you can insulate but it needs more capacity. The amount of air is not obviously sufficient to keep it cool, and it might need a return air to get it circulating better.
