Is it worth being my own general contractor to oversee the construction of my home?
The reason for consideration is that I have family and friends that will assist with foundation, plumbing, framing, so on so forth. I just don’t know exactly what I could build with say $75K or do I get more house on a purshase for 100K.
Generally what is the savings? 15%, 20%?
If it’s worth it, is there a guide out there to follow to assist with the supervision of the construction?
