Foamy Doors

I need to insulate my garage doors.

I have metal overhead garage doors (one single car (8′) and one double (16′). They do not have any windows. They face to the West and get hot. I would like to install some insulation on the inside of the doors. I have searched the net and did not find anything that seemed to be practical. They are either too heavy (with the glass wool blankets) or with foam panels that will not stay glued to the metal.

*I was thinking about placing some small rods that have been bowed and drill some holes in the sections of the door that would hold the foam panel sections that have been cut to fit into the individual sections place in the door frames. What do you recommend?

Jack
