Do I need a Manual J test with my new Air Conditioner?

Kurt is replacing his HVAC system in Houston’s Energy Corridor and read that contractors should perform a Manual J load calculation to be sure that the size of the Air Conditioner is correct for his home.  We checked with Mark, our HomeShow Pro at Absolute Comfort Air on whether Kurt needs this or not.
