My mother’s love is as good as Hardie Plank. I don’t know how they can invent … I don’t know how they can improve on perfection, I really don’t. Hardie tries all the time with their new ColorPlus’s and Artisan’s and all this, but it’s just nothing wrong with that stuff. LP of course is a press-board siding, actually has a paper coating on there. I just don’t understand what they were thinking except, they had a lot of pine trees in Louisiana. That’s where it comes from: “What do we do with the Pine trees? Chop it up in little pieces, put glue on there. The glue’s getting almost as good as wood.”
