They’re all over the last. Required by the roofing industry to put on their roofs to get the shingle warranties to be longer.

They are required.
Tom:
They are required by say GAF.
Charlie:

Okay, to get that long standing warranty that Jim from Ideal Roofing can give you, being a master elite roofing contractor. They have to have the GAF … I’m serious.
Charlie:
… and open Sunday, plenty of free parking.
Tom:
Yes. They have to have the GAF master elite roofing ridge vent on there with the roof, and that would not blow water … They would not allow that to happen if they had to have a warranty.
Charlie:
I’m sure if you had those horizontal rains, blowing at 100 miles an hour.
Tom:
Actually, they are certified for 120 mile and hour winds. That’s why they’re required, and used in Dade County Florida.
Charlie:
That’s the point I was making, at a 100 miles an hour even.
Tom:
Yes.

It’s … If … This is what I used to say, when people really doubted ridge vents, if you have water blowing in a good ridge vent, that’s the least of your worries. You’d better run for the high hills. Okay?
