For reroofing a house, a roofer is reccommending 30 year shingles. Is there an upgrade for shingles that recieve golf ball damage?

Tom: The Rhino Roof is a nice underlayment, but it’s not going to do anything about the golf balls. Golf balls are going to hit your shingles and destroy them. You can get hail resistant shingles, and they actually test hail resistant shingles shooting golf balls at them and see how many golf balls it’ll take before it finally breaks down. Then they meet a certain rating. If you want to upgrade to a hail resistant shingle, you can. It’s going to be very expensive. I’d probably just move.
