Hello, Chris Bogs with Du-West Total Plumbing. Today I’d like to talk about water heaters and some maintenance that goes along with it. Here we had a customer called in saying they needed a new water heater because it wasn’t working properly anymore. When I came and did an inspection on the house, I noticed the tank and everything looks in great condition and then found here on the ID plate that the water heater is actually still under warranty. I was able to contact the manufacturer, order a new thermostat control valve, and a new water heater burner assembly. We got those new ones ordered, free of charge, got overnight shipped, and we got that installed for the customer and they haven’t had any issues since.
