I am going to replace my tub and shower with a walk-in shower. What should I do with the extra drain?

Tom: Just plug it. Actually, that’s all you’re going to end up doing. I’m not sure exactly how it’s all working but what you’d end up doing is just literally pouring concrete in there and just clogging it up because it has a P trap concrete or the fill won’t get pass the P trap. It’s just a goner. It’s dead in the water. It’s another dead soldier that we will not talk about.
Charlie: You just plug it and forget it.
Tom: That’s it.
Charlie: All right.
Tom: Just cover it all up. The other drain will work fine.
