In this scenario, we have a gas system. The same thing you’re going to see on your electric system, you’re going to have air ducts coming in, and then you’re going to have air ducts going out into the rooms. In this scenario, a gas system, it has a gas line going into your furnace, which creates flames.

We also have an inducer motor that takes out carbon dioxide that has a vent pipe going through your roof. For an electric system, you don’t have any of those. You don’t have a vent pipe going through your roof. In actuality, all you have are electric coils that heat up. Another difference between the two is for a gas system, you have your furnace here, and then you have your AC coils next to it. If this was an electric system, all components were be together and be one giant box, and those are the differences between the two systems.
