I live in Houston. I’d like to get the ducts in our electric clothes dryer replaced. Do you have any recommendation(s) for a company to do this?
Walt
Tom:: I’d like to know why they’d need to be replaced, but if they do, then it’s okay with me. Do you want someone to do it?
Charlie: Yeah, would Done Right do it?
Tom:: I know Done Right does cleaning. I don’t know if they do replacement. I would also, I’m going to give you a couple options here because when you build a home, do you know who puts those ducts in is your air conditioning contractor.
Charlie: Okay.
Tom:: They actually put the physical ducts in. You could call Absolute Comfort Air to see if they could replace it if Done Right can’t clean it first and save it and if it needs to be replaced. If you’ve got a broken one, they probably can repair it also. If not, call Absolute Comfort Air as plan B.
Charlie: One of the leading causes of house fires are these dryer vents.
Tom:: Absolutely.
Charlie: You should have them cleaned out at least once a year and Done Right does it. If you haven’t thought about it in a while. I mean, this is not a commercial as much as a keep your family safe.
Tom:: Absolutely. The longer and more convoluted they are, and a lot of them are, they’re just even more dangerous.
Charlie: The only thing I can think of more dangerous in your house would be a gas leak.
