I’m hearing what seems to be dripping sounds above the ceiling in my master bathroom after using the sink or showe. Only occurs when hot water is used not when cold water. Not sure if expanding pipes make same sound?
Thank you
Peter
Tom: I hear it in my house. Everybody has metal pipes will hear it. You don’t usually hear it with [Pex 00:00:03]. You’ll hear it with copper piping. You’ll hear it with galvanized piping. It is pipes expanding from the heat, by the way.
Charlie: Okay.
Tom: It makes this terrible, retched noise that you are determined … You are convinced water is dripping in your walls. It really is odd. It couldn’t make a different noise. It has to be a drip, drip, drip, drip. It’s almost like somebody was playing games with us, but nothing to worry about, whatsoever.
Charlie: Psych ops from the plumber.
Tom: It couldn’t go Eek or Ook. It has to go drip, drip, drip.
