I am installing sheet insulation in my attic.
Nails go through the roof decking now. My plan is to cut the sheets to go between the joists with the existing protruding nails holding it up and then putting nails sideways into the joist to make sure the sheets stay up. Any problems with this process?
It makes sense to me to put the facing toward the outside so the radiant heat will be reflected out. Most articles say to put the facing inward, but I would think that would be for colder parts of the country (I am in Houston). What do you think?
