We’re going to look at everything on the furnace entirely.
Hi, this is Jed with Due West, and today we’re going to be going over our furnace inspection and fall tune-ups. Whenever we come out, we’re going to look at everything on the furnace entirely. A lot of people think that furnace just means the heating section, but we’re also looking over here at our blower motor area. Now, this does distribute air for both the winter and the summertime for cold and heat. We’re going to be looking at that control board, capacitor, transformer, and pulling your blower and making sure it’s completely clean.
On this side, whenever we go over here, we’re looking at our induced draft motor, making sure that it’s pulling all the carbon monoxide out of the system and expelling it through your vent pipe, going out of your roof. We’re going to be making sure that all the sensors and safety features work on here. We’re going to be making sure that your intake and out pressure on the gas is working properly.
Then we’re going to be checking out your flames. Looking at the color of them, making sure everything is working properly, and also looking at your ignition system, making sure that everything is up to par.
