I want to put engineered hardwood flooring in my upstairs rooms.
The second story has plywood subfloors after the carpet is removed. In installing the flooring, should I nail it down or glue it, and depending upon your answer to, should I put an insulator padding down prior to either nailing or gluing the flooring or simply nail or glue the engineered hardwood flooring directly to the plywood subfloors?
Also, am I hurting my future resale value for the house by installing engineered hardwood flooring in the bedrooms rather than carpet?
