We never used our fireplace until now. (Living here 7 yrs in a 22 yr old David Weekly home) so when we were started up our GAS fireplace, there was so much rocks/insulation pieces/whatever that stuff is in the bottom it, the flames were mostly covered up with this stuff and flames came up from around the connecting tube close to the wall where the gas comes in from the switch. Don’t have a clue and couldn’t find who to call who could check out the gas line in the fireplace. And does it matter is the outside of the fireplace has holes in the “wood” (doesn’t seem to be real wood?) where the puppy took chunks out of years ago?
