What kind of solar panels are best for residential in Houston, Texas? My electricity bills are out the roof and it’s time to re-roof.
Any sources you can refer me to?
Thanks,
Cathy
Tom: There’s not a lot of different types. You’ll have different manufacturers and sizes, but you’re going to have to create an “array” is what it’s called, depending on your roof slope, where it’s facing, things like that. “Type” would not even have an answer, a solar panel is a solar panel to create electricity, and what type would be good or what would you use here in the Houston area? Probably none right now because they’re so expensive. That’s a whole different story, but I would rethink the whole thing right now.
Charlie: If your electric bills are high, she needs to go to Power To Choose. It happens to be, there’s so much demand for that video. It’s up right now as our feature video this weekend at HomeShowRadio, because it’s the end of March and you say-
Tom: No, this is the time. If you don’t do it by April 30th, you’re going to be paying super high prices.
Charlie: Cathy, that’d probably save you a lot more money than going and buying solar panels. Just go to Power To Choose and check the power rates, because you’re probably paying too much.
