Charlie: Truitt in Louetta writes, putting down baseboards after installing a laminate floor and some of my corners are rounded. I want to use blocks on the corners for the baseboard. Where can I find a rounded block?
Tom: I don’t know if you’re gonna find one because it’s pretty unusual. I understand exactly what she’s talking about, butting into the blocks, but it’s the time when you get creative and you actually make ’em. You use a router and you cut the pieces of wood to size. You route their edge, make it round and put it in. I think that’s gonna be your best bet is just by making ’em. You can make ’em with homeowner power tools. It’s not that difficult.
Charlie: Just get creative.
Tom: Yeah. It’s trying to find something very special. How many of rounded blocks would a guy sell, 20 a year, so it’s not gonna be a lot on the shelves.
Charlie: It’s the rounded block pile where do you have it.
Tom: Yeah. No, it won’t work.
