Podcast: Play in new window

TOM: No, and you don’t varnish anymore. You’re going to put the stain on first. Then you can use urethane, which most people use. I’m not a big fan of on regular traditional wood floors. It’s great on pre-engineered floors, because it’s done in the factory, but I would use a stain and a wax.
CHARLIE: So the seal or stain is all in one, and then the wax goes on top.
