I have an aggregate stone patio made up of 1/2 inch stones. It hurts our feet to walk on.
What kind of epoxy coating can be used to make smooth and not slippery since it near the pool.

Tom’s Answer:
Podcast: Play in new window
Tom: Yeah, most of them are non-slip, so that’s probably pretty consistent across the board. Secondly, there are so many of them out there right now and everybody loves them. You see them advertised in every home improvement magazine. Why we don’t have a sponsor here for it, I don’t know, Charlie.
Charlie: Working on it.
Tom: You’ll keep working on it.
Charlie: Actually, I am. I’m working on it.
Tom: Well, it’s a great idea, and it’s getting very popular. There’s a lot of people interested in it. Just go ahead and talk to several companies and see if they have the style you like. The slip-resistance will be a part of all of them. I think it’s a great option over that old, what we used to call Chattahoochee or pea gravel. I have it around my own pool, and I wear my slippers.
Charlie: Chattahoochee like the Alan Jackson song?
Tom: Yes. You go on the East Coast, that’s what they call pea gravel is Chattahoochee.
Charlie: Chattahoochee.
Tom: Yeah, in Florida they do.
Charlie: Well, I’ll be. It’s like in New England they call a malt a frappe.
Tom: A soda a pop in the Midwest.
Charlie: Right.
Tom: A grinder or a submarine sandwich, right?
Charlie: Or a hoagie.
Tom: A hoagie.
Charlie: That’s it. All right.
