Hard water window stains

I need to know how I can remove tough or hard water stains on glass windows cause by years of sprinkler system abuse. I’ve read the public’s opinion but I definitely value your opinion.

Thanks in advance,

Robert

Tom: If it is hard water, which it probably is, then it would be a vinegar window cleaner. A strong acid is what’s going to clean them. If it’s so bad, it’s been on there for so long, it will etch the glass and there’s nothing you can do unless you want to have the glass replaced. The biggest thing is, quit sprinkling your windows.
