Yemini in Sugarland has written to us, and asks, “I have a fire pit in my backyard, and after using it, I tried to shut off the fire with the key,” I guess it’s a gas-powered one, “and couldn’t turn it off to shut it down. It was jammed. The thing wouldn’t turn, so I turned it off from the main valve. People who built it five years ago are long gone, and so I’m not sure what to do in getting this fixed.”

Call Abacus Plumbing. It’s a plumber. Duh. I’m sorry, what are you … Don’t be upset.
Charlie:
Most people don’t know a plumber does gas.
Tom:
Yeah, they’ll probably have to put a new valve in it.
