Am I supposed to have more cracks after I get my foundation fixed?
My 27 year old townhome just had some foundation work completed. While most of the cracks went back together and could be repaired with a little bit of patch and paint there are a few areas where the walls are actually buldging out and the cracks did not go back. Even some new ones appeared. The foundation repair company I called said this was normal. So my question is how do I repair the new damage? The walls are that old popcorn texture that was popular in the 80’s. Is there something I can just cover them with or do I have to take it down to the drywall and replace all that?
