Podcast: Play in new window

Tom: Anything is possible, but travertine’s probably going to not like having holes put in it. But yeah, you can do it.

Charlie: That’s what you’re going to have to do to put carpet, right? You’re going to have to fasten them down on travertine.

Tom: It’s either that or glue, and that’s just going to make the travertine all messed up, but if you keep it down there forever, it won’t matter. So you can call Texas Floors, have those guys give you your options, but can it be done? Absolutely.

Charlie: But it’s going to compromise the travertine one way or the other.

Tom: Yeah.
