Charlie: William in League City has a question for you. He says, “I’m looking for someone to install stair parts.” He bought some banisters and railings and all that, and he bought it with the idea that he was going to do it himself.
Podcast: Play in new window
Tom: Uh oh.
Charlie: Yeah. Turns out-
Tom: I don’t know if I’d do it myself.
Charlie: Right, exactly. He’s been unsuccessful finding anyone who does this kind of work. Who would you recommend? Is this … You think Rudy’s guys can handle this?
Tom: Yeah, see if Rudy’s got a good finish carpenter. I’m sure he does. Those kind of things are something you have to do regularly to kind of keep in the swing of things. It’s not something you make up for the first time, and if you do, it probably is not going to come out as nice as you want, or you’ll have to redo some of it. But Rudy, I’m sure, has a guy that has been doing a lot of that for a long time. The other people you might look at if that doesn’t work is Texas Floors. They do a lot of staircases-
Charlie: Oh yeah.
Tom: … and they redo handrails, too. So, those are the two places, starting with Rudy first.
