Baked-on cabinets finish

Is there such a thing as a baked-on finish on kitchen cabinets? My kitchen cabinets are painted but I want a stronger finish. Can they have a baked-on finish put on a cabinet? If so, do you know who does that type of work?

Tom: Good paint, if he wants to paint them, but as far as a baked on you’d have to literally make the cabinets in a factory, kind of like they do with Hardy and then roll it through these huge machines where the paint is just … They just pour it over the top of it, catch the extras and then they bake it at a temperature and humidity. It’s pretty hard to do that but factory finishes are somewhat closer to a baked on but not on your existing cabinets.
