Charlie: I want to get answers for Joe from Westbury. He says we have a budget of about $50,000 to do some remodeling of our home. We want to replace the windows, remodel the master bathroom, and the guest bathroom, and we want to replace all the cabinets and floor in the kitchen for $50,000.
Tom: Well, that’s not enough money. So…People have the idea that for 10 or 20 thousand they can do some stuff.

Tom: $20,000 I can put a pool in. Well, that’s going to cost $60,000. You just did your kitchen, you did it very nicely. It was like a million dollars for you.
Charlie: Well yeah, it’s because we used the platinum pulls and the gold-plated rollers on the-
Tom: I mean, it costs a lot of money.
Charlie: I will tell you-
Tom: I just got a bid to redo my bathroom, was $25,000. I had to do the electrical work myself.
Charlie: My kitchen was way north of that.
Tom: I know. I think what we have to do in this case is we have to set priorities and find out what’s the most important thing- is it the master bathroom? Is it the guest bathroom? Is it the kitchen, or is it the windows? Because, there’s not enough money to do it all, and don’t jump in and have somebody say, “Oh, yeah, I can do it all.” They’ll run off with your money and you’ll get everything halfway finished. Really, got to get a little more focused on that.
Charlie: I will tell you that the thing that we came in with a lot more things we wanted to do. Jeff at Tri-Fection 01:11], Jeff Roberts at Trifection, came in and helped us be more realistic about what we could accomplish.
