Charlie: She wants to know, “How can I clean the black mold off my AC ducts?”
Tom: Well, it’s not mold. It’s mildew. It’s not a big, serious thing. If you don’t have the capability of getting on a little step ladder/step stool and using a screwdriver, taking it down and washing it, the easiest thing for people to do is take a little spray bottle of water and a quarter cup of bleach in there and just spritz it with that, not while the unit is running because you’ll get it back in your face. Just want to throw that in there as a disclaimer, but actually, if you just come back after about five minutes all that black stuff will be gone.
