I have removed old wallpaper from my drywall.
Actually, in some cases it was the original wallpaper (1979) and the second (1993). My problem is that some of the drywall tore or peeled a layer or so off. We are going to texture and paint the walls. Do I use the pigmented shellac before I repair the drywall? What is the best way to repair the drywall? Also some of the original builders pencil markings are on the wall will they bleed through or should I remove them?
