Irene in Clear Lake, she says, “We have a narrow crack in our garage brick wall from expansion joint to the top. It’s about two to three feet from the slab, and DuWest Foundation Repair says to just watch it, maybe repair the crack itself. Do you recommend that, Tom? Should we watch and wait?”

I don’t know how entertaining it would be. I’d rather watch a movie.
Charlie:
Get out the lawn chairs.
Tom:
The margarita machine, drink enough of them, it might be interesting after a while.
Charlie:
There’s so many ways to take this in a really bad direction. I’m just going to leave that crack alone.
Tom:
I’m just kind of funning with you, but yeah! have it fixed. If they don’t think it’s moving on the house. I had four places on my house, the brick, just fixed because it was just cracked because of expansion and water and all that. That’s a beautiful thing. Especially if the crack goes straight up and down. It usually has nothing to do with the foundation.
Charlie:
All you had to go do was Google brick repair and you’ll find people out there who can restore that for you.
