I was hoping you could let me know of a product on the market that is the best for cleaning the bathroom tile and shower. I don’t mind a little elbow grease but is there something that you can spray on and it really eats the stains from the grout and tile?

Tom: First off, everybody wants some spray. Sometimes it’s not a spray. Let’s start with this. What are you cleaning? Are you cleaning mold and mildew? Are you cleaning hard water deposits? Are you cleaning soap scum?
There are different cleaners for different things. If it’s a mildew issue, you spray it with half-bleach, half-water, and just let it sit there and kill the mildew and the mold. If you have hard water deposits on your tile, that’s going to mean an acid-based cleaner. You can use something like CLR to do that. If it’s just dirt and grime, you can use a very mild abrasive, such as SoftScrub. One of my favorites is Bar Keepers Friend, which is used on a lot of stainless steel and stuff. You have to a little elbow grease. It’s like a Comet product, only not as harsh.
