I am looking at a home in Magnolia. Each room has a return air vent. Is that a good thing?

Tom: The more air returns the better. It mixes the air up. We get so many questions, Charlie, about, “My house is not cooling evenly. I have hot rooms, I have cold rooms. I’ve got this, I’ve got that.” That’s because the distribution system is not set up and part of the distribution system is the return, the air going into the system as well as the air leaving. It’s really nice to have a lot of them throughout the house and it makes a much more evenly cooled and heated space.
