We just completed construction of our new home on Tiki Island 5 months ago.
We used a special mildew resistant sheetrock for the interior walls of our garage and we are now noticing that there is mildew growing. Our plan is to remove and replace with Hardie Plank. Is there anything else that you suggest we do about this problem? The garage is enclosed on two sides and has louvres on two side which serve as break away walls. Our assessment is that there is still too much moisture in the air and we should treat the inside garage walls as exterior walls.
