Whenever you have the door closed, the heat that’s already inside this room cannot escape.
Hi, my name’s Alex. I’m an AC technician with Abacus. A lot of our homeowners have issues with a particular room being warmer than the rest of the house. Even though they have supply air that are pushing out cold air, it’s still warm inside the room. A lot of the reason why this is is, whenever you have the door closed, the heat that’s already inside this room cannot escape and not go into your main return into the system. So we always recommend customers, if they have this issue, is to add a return into that room, and this allows that hot air to get sucked back into the system and able to cool down.
