What is the best way to have my home concrete slab smoothed and finished?

Charlie: Lewis writes the first question to us in the last section. He’s from Bellaire, and he says, after Harvey, his home has a concrete slab. They’ve taken the floors up. He’s thinking he doesn’t want to install any wood floors, Tom, or any kind of floors. He just wants to have the concrete smoothed and finished. What’s your thoughts?

Tom: I think it’s fine. Concepts in Concrete, call them. You could do an acid wash. You could do a lot of different things, and a sealer, and then it can, it will have to be, if there’s another Harvey, it’ll still have to be probably refinished again, but you won’t have to pull old flooring out. You’re just going to have, to have someone who, like Concepts in Concrete, come in and redo the coating or the whatever finish you choose on it.
