Do I need a moisture barrier outside the tech shield I’ve installed on the west and east walls of my house?

Tom: Here’s the problem with that. You always need a moisture barrier between the siding or the brick or the stone or the stucco, whatever you’re doing, and your wall. Now, if you put it on top of that tech shield, that tech shield’s not gonna work.
Charlie: Oh.
Tom: It wasn’t a good application, so I would personally use thermo wrap and … The tech shield’s already up, so just let it go, but use a thermo wrap from Tyveck, which is a radiant barrier wrap, and that way it will work if you put it on properly.
