Tom, What are your thoughts on the Flow Tech Home Inline Water System?

Charlie: Mike in Atascocita. Thank you for writing to us, Mike. He wants to know, “Tom, we’re researching a water system called the Flow Tech Home Inline Water System.”
Tom: Yes.
Charlie: “It’s going to be installed in our home, our home is five years old. Do you have any knowledge of this product and we’d sure appreciate your thoughts.”

Tom: It’s a glorified magnet and they don’t work. They’ve been coming and going I think since the 70’s. They even tried those gimmicks on cars to say they increase gas mileage back when gas was about the same price as it is today, but anyway, as far as that goes, no, to soften water you have to soften it. Using a gimmick or a gadget, it just doesn’t work. If there’s a national water association, I think it’s an NWA that does all the research on this stuff that they can look up.
