Tom: No, because it’s not necessary. You do need to have your air conditioner maintained. Many cases, you have to have your evaporator coil cleaned. That’s the part you’ll have cleaned. You got to make sure your ducts are sealed well, but you don’t have them cleaned. Now, there’s things you can do around your house, like clean the registers on the ceiling once in a while when they get kind of mildewy. For some rooms they do more than others. Even in the kitchen, is really the worst one because it gets a little grease built up in there. But, no. No duct cleaning.
