Getting rid of bad smells

We renovated a town home, but have a room that smells like dog feces. The smell comes and goes.
Is there anything we can use to absorb / get rid of this smell?

Tom: People want to absorb it. They want it to go away. They want to hide from it. They want to put masks on. They want to put air conditioning filters in the air conditioner. Why don’t they just clean what’s there and usually that’s all it takes. Now, it’s like a roof leak, Charlie, how do you know what’s there. You have to find it. That’s doesn’t mean you go around smelling it but you have to do some investigation. If it’s carpet get your carpets cleaned. If it’s tile get the floor clean. If it’s something in the wall that’s dead get it out. There’s a lot of different things it could be.
