We have blue staining in our toilets and sinks coming from our water.
The sinks and toilets we use more frequently have less stains. Some have told me that something in our water is eating our copper water pipes from the inside and the blue water is coming from this. Horror stories of water lines in our attic eventually springing leaks keep me up at night. Can you shed some TRUE info on what is causing our blue staining and what can be done about it?
By the way, this did not start till after IKE…we are on Quadvest water service. We built our home about 8 yrs ago and this started about 2 yrs ago….oh…our cat will not drink the water. You can not see the staining in the water itself…just accumulates in sinks and stools…we do not use any tablets or other cleaners in our toilet tanks.
