CHARLIE:
Janice in South West says she has two bathrooms that are back to back. One toilet does not flush completely but the other one is working great. She says, “I’ve removed the toilet and could not find anything in the P-trap, ran a snake down the pipe, then replaced the toilet. It still does not flush like it should. What should I do next?”

TOM:
New toilet … It’s already all calcified. It’s probably an older toilet and it’s not getting the flushing action it used to have. You could try to clean it out. You’re giggling?
CHARLIE:
I’m sorry. No, I’m just saying …
TOM:
This is important stuff, Charlie.
CHARLIE:
You’re toilet’s not getting any action.
TOM:
Not getting any action. It’s a lot easier probably to buy a newer one. If it was one of the old early water savers, they never worked from day one to begin with very well.
CHARLIE:
Amen to that.
