Tom, I had a very interesting experience with my bathroom tile.
As I was giving my 9 month old daughter a bath I heard loud popping and cracking noises and felt the tile floor beneath me bow up and the bow itself moved like a wave! The wave eventually stopped in the center of the bathroom floor where the floor was so bowed up that I couldn’t close the door. After I determined that I was in fact not involved in an earthquake, I yelled for my husband to come and see! He stepped on the bow and two tiles fell and cracked(the bow is about 2 inches off the ground. Anyhow I am at a loss, what do I do? Could this be a foundation problem? Should I contact my insurance company? Please help my floor is in shambles from the cracked tiles and grout!
