I’m being attacked… by squirrels!
I have a house Southwest of Houston that is unoccupied except for once a month when I go down there from Dallas. Found out that I have squirrels in the attic. They have already chewed some of the insulation off an electrical wire and foam insulation off the low pressure line from the a/c unit. I left the house this time with some sort of supposedly electronic audio beacon that is supposed to run them out going in the attic along with a 100 watt bulb. The house is a hip roof all the way around. Didn’t see any where in the soffet or facier boards where they could be coming in. Roof vents appear screened. Can’t put traps up there because there is no one around to empty them….by the 3rd or 4th week, they’d be RIPE! Any ideas on how to make the attic less appealing to them, and how to get rid of the current crop before another one shows up?
